One of the major things that I don’t get about this industry is how irresponsible some of us porn stars or models can be when we are supposed to be working, especially at these events that we do. I book myself for events all across the US and when I show up I interact with the fans, meet new people, and show people who I really am off camera (while still keeping it sexy.) I feel like that’s the professional thing to do. I cannot stand whenever I show up to these events and some models that are there to represent other studios and agencies get completely shit faced and make complete asses of themselves. At the last event that I did it was pretty much the same thing but in front of a shit ton more people than usual. Deborah Cox performed on stage and as soon as she was done some ‘porn stars’ were told to go on stage and dance. Well of course the ones that were already plastered to the point of not being able to tell if their shoe was tied or not were the first to volunteer. That was cool up until they got on stage and were dancing and staggering like a raccoon that was just shot with a pellet gun. It really disgusts me… And when porn stars are booked at a pride event to show up and be sexy and represent, don’t start a circle jerk when you were told not to show your goodies at all, because the person that organized EVERYTHING and made sure that everything goes accordingly gets into trouble for having adults acting like kids when they are supposed to be professionals. We shouldn’t have to have a babysitter to watch out every single move when we are expected to be responsible and civil. Most of us are forgetting the difference between a slut and an adult entertainer or adult film actor. There is DEFINITELY a fine line between being sexy and entertaining and then being slutty and completely trashy. I’m not trashing any other porn star or anyone in my field of work, I’m just saying GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. One of the biggest things that I’ve learned since I started out is that people, no matter what the situation is, people always want more. You have to be careful how MUCH more you show them or give them because once they’ve had or seen it all, they’ll move on to the next thing. There is ALWAYS more right around the corner, (or on the corner, LOL) Another thing that just gets under my skin about us mainstream porn stars, is that once we get a name established, some of us develop these ego’s like nothing I’ve seen before. I mean come on, yea we are sexy, yea we show our junk on camera, but we are not higher than any other person just because we can act out sex. If anyone should have ego’s it should definitely be the people behind the camera who makes everything fit together. That’s enough ranting for now, just remember, when doing these events its not JUST about how you’ve filmed on camera, its about your personality and representing who you were booked to represent. When you’re staggering around a parking lot in your underwear wearing a studios underwear, YOU not only look bad but you make the studio or agency that you represent look even worse.
